<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This analytical review considers the clinical aspects of the application of virtual reality (VR) technologies in the cognitive rehabilitation of patients with cardiovascular diseases. It is shown that VR-training is one of the actively developing rehabilitation methods. Its use has great potential for the treatment of cognitive disorders of a wide range (stroke, vascular cognitive disorders, cardiac surgery patients). Promising in the development of personalized approach in the cognitive rehabilitation of cardiac patients is the estimation of the initial level of cognitive reserve as an indicator of the possible activation of neuroplastic processes against the background of cognitive training using a virtual environment.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>когнитивная реабилитация</kwd><kwd>виртуальная реальность</kwd><kwd>мультимодальные задачи</kwd><kwd>ишемия головного мозга</kwd><kwd>когнитивный резерв</kwd><kwd>нейропластичность</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cognitive rehabilitation</kwd><kwd>virtual reality</kwd><kwd>multimodal tasks</kwd><kwd>brain ischemia</kwd><kwd>cognitive reserve</kwd><kwd>neuroplasticity</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">исследование выполнено за счет гранта Российского научного фонда № 23-15-00379 (https://rscf.ru/project/23-15-00379/).</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">the study was supported by a grant from the Russian Science Foundation № 23-15-00379 (https://rscf.ru/project/23-15-00379/).</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Tsang H.W.H., Lin J.J.
