Реперфузионное повреждение в большой степени ответственно за финальный размер инфаркта. Несмотря на прогресс в реваскуляризации миокарда, профилактика и лечение реперфузионного повреждения при инфаркте миокарда не является успешной в клинической практике. Гипотермия может уменьшить реперфузионное повреждение, тем самым улучшить выживаемость и снизить количество осложнений при остром инфаркте миокарда.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Despite timely coronary reperfusion, about 7% of patients with acute myocardial infarction die during hospitalization and around 23% survivors develop heart failure within one year. Reperfusion injury is largely responsible for the final infarct size. Although, there is some progress in myocardial revascularization, prevention and treatment of the reperfusion injury in myocardial infarction patients is not successful enough in clinical practice.
