≪Siberian Medical Journal≫ is a peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal. It was founded in 1922 by the Scientific Medical Council of Siberian Healthcare with the close and constant participation of the Society of Naturalists and Physicians of Tomsk University and the Society of Practical Physicians of Tomsk Province. It was published from 1923 to 1931. In 1996 the Journal was revived by the decision of the Presidium of the Tomsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences with the assistance of the Department of Health of the Tomsk Region Administration and the Academic Council of the Siberian State Medical University. Since 1997, it has been published with the participation of the Interregional Siberian Medical Foundation named after D.D. Yablokov. Since 2010, the founder of the journal has been the Cardiology Research Institute, Tomsk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2020, the Siberian Medical Journal was re-registered as the Siberian Journal of Clinical and Experimental Medicine under the foundation of the Tomsk National Research Medical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
